PRAYERS
OF THE PEOPLE
Dear Lord it is an amazing truth that even our worship is a gracious
gift from you. You came to
us in Christ, and by the love and divine ability of the Holy Spirit, we
in our hearts are being lifted above this normal human experience, into
the Son’s praise of our heavenly Father, in the most beautiful loving
communion given to us by the Holy Spirit.
We praise you. We
worship you. We are so thankful to you.
And we truly do believe that in Christ, with Christ, and being
taught by Christ, we love you God.
It is in this Spirit of faith, hope, and love that we desire to pray for
others. Please lead us,
speak to us, hear us, and serve gracefully those whom we pray for.
As we begin thinking of others that we love and care for, we certainly
acknowledge family members, friends, and our Spiritual Sisters and
Brothers who need an awareness of your presence, your strength, your
encouragement, and your peace.
Lord, we are going to take some silent praying time together, where we
bring to you, in our thoughts, those whom you have put in our hearts. And, if you want some of us to pray out loud, please lead us
according to your will …
Empower your gospel all over the world.
Because “we are the Lord’s,” lead us into the ministry you
want for us. Strengthen
good leaders in every country.
Thank you for the faith of some of our loved ones, who are now with
fully you. We are so
grateful for how their faith in you affected our lives.
Almighty God, we praise you, we worship you, we thank you, and we love
you. These are our prayers
in Jesus’ name, because we are the Lord’s.
