PRAYERS
OF THE PEOPLE
Dear everlasting, divine loving heavenly Father, Brother Lord Jesus
Christ, and our dearest Holy Spirit, God: we praise you.
We worship you. We
thank you for all the blessings you have arranged in our lives here. Please
lead us to empathize more closely with your feelings involved in the
crucifixion of Christ, so that our praise for you will really grow
spiritually.
As your congregation, as your adopted family, along with Christians all
over this world, we pray that you will teach us your great news that is
very fascinating, and plant it in our hearts in such a way that we will
love looking other people in their eyes and telling them who they
already are in Jesus Christ.
In countries all around this Earth there are some political situations
that even threaten common ordinary citizens.
Protect them. Bring
up leaders who know and want to overcome evil with goodness. Somehow, according to you will, put down and away the
political leaders who are demonstrating evil.
We are thankful to you for public education.
Our prayer is that you will encourage, strengthen, and support
the students, teachers, and administrators.
Now Lord, we offer our prayers for our dearly loved ones.
We are going to pray silently …
Into your hands, O God, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in
your mercy; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
